Supermarket gives Sidmouth in Bloom £220 boost

Floral displays in the Sid Valley will get a boost thanks to supermarket shoppers.

Sidmouth in Bloom was one of the beneficiaries of Waitrose’s Community Matters scheme, which gives customers the chance to support their favourite cause.

Collecting a cheque for £220, committee member Cheryl Allen said: “The committee will need every bit of help of all descriptions if they are to compete in 2017 Britain in Bloom against other small coastal towns. All are working to make their local area cleaner, greener and more beautiful for everyone, and be the best in the country!”
