Surveyors will be carrying out work at Knowle this weekend and next as plans to transform part of the site in to a retirement community gather pace.
Developer PegasusLife will be conducting ground investigations and drainage survey work tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, and also on November 6 and 7.
The firm’s development director Mick Marran said: “This process will help to inform our technical report that will be submitted as part of our planning application to East Devon District Council. We very much look forward to progressing our planning application to create an exciting development that sits in harmony with the fantastic location and surroundings here in Sidmouth.”
The developer plans to unveil its vision for the 4.7-acre site towards the end of November.
