Forensic officers have been combing areas of Newton Poppleford this morning following an alleged arson attack.
A caravan blaze happened at 2.30am this morning, and police believe the incident was deliberate.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Initial enquiries are ongoing at present."
