SUSTAINABLE Ottery will celebrate 'growing up' with an Autumn Gathering tonight.

The group, which began in 2007 when three friends met over a cup of coffee, is now on the verge of becoming fully fledged Community Interest Company, designed to use its profits and assets for the public good.

The step means the group will become an organisation led by its members, who can elect its directors and steer the organisation in the way that the community wants.

A celebratory event in The Institute will take place from 7.30pm tonight.
