THERE are not many occasions when you are allowed to slurp your tea, especially if you are young. One exception was for members of Sidmouth Methodist Church's junior church, who learnt about the world of tea-tasting when Martin Odoch from Uganda visited during FairTrade fortnight.Adults as well as children learnt new vocabulary and tea drinking techniques, and reports Jill Dixon in the church magazine: "I think the children found it quite amusing that slurping tea was, on this occasion anyway, quite acceptable."Junior church could be involved in a survey on the availability of FairTrade goods in Sidmouth to help Devon achieve FairTrade status. On Sunday, May 11, the children will organise a church breakfast to raise money for Christian Aid.
