TALKS over whether Hind Street could become a two-way road to allay 'Sainsbury's traffic gridlock' took place last week.
Highways chiefs and planning bosses again met with Ottery councillors.
The Herald revealed last month how Councillor Roger Giles and mayor Glyn Dobson called were made for the measure amid gridlock fears.
Mr Dobson said the meeting went well and further talks will take place in June.
