A Sidmouth teenager rubbed shoulders with pop stars at a singer’s birthday bash in London after winning an internet competition to attend.

Louis Hoare and his friend Brodie Pow, both 15, met Pixie Lott and other celebrities at Dionne Bromfield’s 16th birthday party after entering a contest on Twitter.

He was one of only 10 people to receive an invite to the glitzy party in Notting Hill after sending a message of ‘happy birthday’ to the young singer, who is Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter.

Louis, who lives in Sidford Road and attends The King’s School in Ottery St Mary, chose to take his friend Brodie, a Sidmouth College student, to the trendy Supperclub venue last weekend.

There they met numerous famous faces from television and the music industry, and Louis’ mum Marsha said the boys struck a conversation with pop star Pixie Lott, asking her to tour in Devon.
