Teenage musicians and singers will be performing at a special concert to raise funds for the East Devon Day Hospice Appeal.

Nine young acts are getting together for the Teens Support Hospiscare concert at the Royal Clarence in Seaton on Wednesday, August 20, 7.30pm for 8pm.

Organiser Pik Rawlings said most of the young people taking part have been involved in the community competitions and are developing their musical presence locally.

“We thought it would be good to use that talent to support Hospiscare,” she said. “They can see the day hospice being built and it makes it very real to them. My mum died in a hospice and it was just so wonderful to have that time with her in a special place.”

Pik’s daughter, singer and songwriter Holly Morwenna, is taking part in the concert along with Finn Talisker, Aspen, Arthur Burrow, Zac Ward, Savanna Leanne, Rosa Trivett, Aaron Samuel and Rosie Weber.
