Planned drainage works in Temple Street have been rescheduled to tomorrow (Friday).
Contractors were due to carry out the improvements on Sunday, but were postponed due to nearby resurfacing works near Woolbrook Road and Alexandria Road.
Temporary traffic lights and parking suspensions will be in place this evening, from 6pm, to allow Devon County Council to carry out work preventing water gathering on the road outside the former Golden Gate Salon.
Councillor Stuart Hughes, said: “We have planned the work from Friday evening to minimise inconvenience to residents. Once completed, the work should resolve the ponding problem in Temple Street.”
