ONLY a limited number of places are left on the Donkey Carer Experience Day at Sidmouth's Donkey Sanctuary.
This event is designed to give members of the public the opportunity to work at the sanctuary where they will gain hands-on experience meeting and caring for some of the donkeys.
The day includes behind-the-scenes activities including grooming, feeding and exercising the donkeys, making plastic name collars, mucking out donkey stables and having a guided tour of the farm.
Kate Bailey, event organiser, said: "This is the chance of a lifetime to work closely with our adorable, gentle donkeys.
"Participants will receive a certificate, a framed photo of them with the donkeys, a specially designed t-shirt, lunch and refreshments, including an afternoon Devon Cream Tea, and a personalised donkey collar. It really is a fun day out and makes a unique gift for the person who has everything."
The event, which takes place on Tuesday, October 20, costs 150 and funds from the day will go towards the running of the sanctuary.
