Thieves smash car window in Sidmouth

A handbag was stolen after thieves smashed the rear window of a vehicle parked on a Sidmouth car park.

The grey Seat hatchback, left on the Peak Hill Car Park, was broken into between 11am and 1.10pm on Monday. The handbag contained a number of minor items and a Nokia mobile. Anybody who saw anything suspicious should call police on 101 quoting CR/058549/16.
