The sell-out three-day event sold the last of its 12,500 tickets in June and organisers are hopeful that this year's festivities will be greeted by sunny weather.

Torrential rain last year led to a weekend of soggy, mud-stained fun which led to trouble for drivers who had to be towed from the events' boggy car parks.

Organiser David Farrow said: "We deserve nice weather this year. We've had two really wet years but can function if it does rain. This year I there will be an extra car park in reserve and we will have more track roads.
