A WATER leak in Tipton St John, which left rate-paying residents "outraged" that gallons of water were pouring into the road for weeks, has been blamed on a faulty main.
South West Water (SWW) fixed the problem at Coombe Cross last Tuesday (September 15).
Days before, residents had told the Herald the problem had been reported three weeks earlier.
A SWW spokesman said engineers were made aware of the leak on September 4.
