A trapped toddler, who got locked in a car, helped firefighter with his own escape.
Firefighters were called out to the town centre on Monday to free the child.
During the rescue the toddler was able to release the boot after being guided by the crew and parents.
A firefighter was then able to climb in to the boot and release the door.
The crew were also called out on the same day to stand by at Honiton Fire Station to cover the station while its Command Unit was sent to a fire in Exeter.
