Top music star wishes Newton Poppleford newlyweds well

A newlywed couple from Newton Poppleford received the icing on their cake after renowned DJ and music producer Wilkinson sent them a personal video message of congratulations.

Professional photographers Zoe and Paul Campbell, who own Phaze Photography in Sidmouth, received the message after photographing a gig in Plymouth which the music producer was featuring in.
Zoe interviewed the star as part of the shoot, but after revealing she was soon to be married, Wilkinson cut short the interview to say his own personal message on camera.
In the video, he says: “Say goodbye to Mrs Smith and say hello to Mrs Campbell.
“Congratulations on your wedding night, Mr and Mrs Campbell. Have a great night, congratulations!”

The star also penned a message to the couple’s daughter and shared the news of their marriage to his 32,000 followers on Twitter.
Zoe said: “He was so laid back and we just started chatting like old friends.

“We had started the interview and then he suddenly said ‘stop the interview – this is a personal message for you two’.
“It was lovely; he is a genuine bloke.”
