Mr Pinky, Britain’s best-travelled tabby, has thanked Sidmouth for its hospitality.

Sidmouth was the latest stop-off for the pet and his owner Tim Wheeler.

The cat, who travels in a reinforced padded shopping trolley, is set to be the subject of a book and DVD next year – and Tim says Sidmouth will ‘feature prominently’ in the tail.

Tim, from Reading in Berkshire, takes his pet on the bus and even the London Underground, travelling more than 1,000 miles last year.
