If the stress and strain of so much freedom has left you feeling as though you need some therapy, we may have just the answer for you!
Having worked as the principal therapist at the Victoria and Belmont Hotels, Kaya Woods has over 10 years’ experience in her field and is now heading her new High Street based Essential Therapies Studio offering a vast range of treatments aimed at both male and female clients, so don’t be frightened gents!
Located on the top floor of the Potburys building in what was originally the apartment for Mr and Mrs Potbury, Kaya offers massage therapy in the form of highly effective wellbeing rituals which are designed to restore balance to your body and peace to your mind, which should be ideal after the dramas of the last year.
Kaya has also trained in sports, remedial, Swedish, deep tissue, dry cupping, MFR, Indian head massage, Thai foot massage and aromatherapy. All treatments are bespoke to each client and has her own signature treatment, The Essential Ritual, which is both a restorative massage and a customized facial combined.
With so much emphasis on natural products in today’s modern environment the studio uses high performing products that are eco-friendly and ethical. These products are not only kinder to your skin and the planet but also offer exceptional results due to their high concentrations of bio-plant actives.
Kaya said: “I specialise in high touch, organic facials and at the heart of them is a thorough facial massage, releasing muscular tension and stimulating the lymphatic and circulatory flow, bringing you into a state of deep peace and relaxation.”
As well as offering her own treatments Kaya has treatment rooms to hire out to professionals with their own discipline and long term is planning on building a small team of independent natural health practitioners and holistic therapists.
If you fancy treating yourself to a little relaxing treatment, Kaya is currently offering £10 off your first facial when you sign up to the essential therapies newsletter at www.essential-therapies.co.uk or just quote the code HERALD when you book your treatment. For those who use social media you will also find some treatment giveaways on Facebook so don’t forget to enter to be in with a chance of winning.
