Fields of Sidmouth pulled out all the stops as it celebrated National Customer Service Week with special tuk tuk trips.
The ‘tukxi’ took customers from the department store to local hotels for free, just asking for donations to the Devon Freewheelers, the shop’s charity of the year.
Fields director Trevor Roberts said they were all very generous and grateful for them going the extra mile.
“We got a lot of good feedback about the store and about Sidmouth – and the tuk tuk certainly turned heads,” he said.
This was the fourth time the store has teamed up with the Brend hotels to offer the service, and it looks set to return next year.
