A TV ethnobotanist with a passion for growing weird and wonderful crops is coming to speak at Otter Nurseries next week.
James Wong will be bringing his range of unusual seeds for people to buy and grow their own tomatillos or blue sausage fruit at home.
The Kew-trained star of BBC television programme ‘How to Grow Your Own Drugs’ will be on hand at the garden centre to teach people about new foods they can produce in their own gardens.
He will also be signing copies of his new book, ‘Homegrown Revolution’, at the talk on Wednesday, March 27, from 3pm to 7pm.
