Two people from Sidmouth have pleaded guilty to a joint charge of possessing with the intent to supply cannabis worth more than £120.
Elaine Carnell, of Manstone Avenue, and Lee Rasmussen, formerly of Warrens Mead, Sidford, appeared before Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, after police seized 9.82 grams of cannabis from a property in Lower Brook Meadow in October.
The prosecution said that Carnell, 32, and Rasmussen, 31, were found in the main bedroom of the address in Lower Brook Meadow, where police located a shoebox containing the class B drug in the shed.
Carnell reportedly told the police: “It’s just some weed.”
The case was adjourned for sentencing, which is due to take place on Wednesday, January 28.
