National auctioneers Warwick and Warwick, will visit Sidmouth on Tuesday, November 24, to value items free of charge and advise on selling them.
Experts in coins and banknotes, stamps, medals and militaria, postcards and cigarette cards, die cast toys and models and model railways will be at the Belmont Hotel, The Esplanade, between 1pm and 5pm.
A spokesman said: "Many people do not realise they have possessions of value, especially postcard collections, where black and white real photographic views can fetch from 5 to tens of pounds each, especially if there is a close up of an early omnibus or a traction engine."
Previous visits to Sidmouth had received a good response, he added.
Coin collections are also fetching high prices, especially gold coins.
