A driver was treated for smoke inhalation after a blaze that severely damaged a van in Sidmouth yesterday evening (Sunday).
One fire engine from the town was called to Fortescue Road at 10.08pm and found the vehicle well alight.
Crews got to work with two hose reel jets and two firefighters in breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.
The vehicle was severely damaged.
Paramedics were called to check the owner for the effects of smoke inhalation.
