Veteran trainer Oliver Carter dies

Veteran point to point and NH permit holder Oliver Carter, 90, who for much of his life lived at Bishops Court, Ottery St Mary, died on Saturday night.

Veteran point to point and NH permit holder Oliver Carter, 90, who for much of his life lived at Bishops Court, Ottery St Mary, died on Saturday night. Carter's career highlights included a 1976 Whitbread Gold Cup victory with Otter Way; and four wins in the Horse and Hound Cup.
