READERS have until the end of the month to get their nominations in for 2008 Citizen of the Year.

Often the people who make a real difference to a town go unrewarded, but Sidmouth Rotary Club and the Herald are working together to show appreciation to our unsung heroes.

Nominees can include charity workers or people who work in other ways to benefit the community.

The Citizen of the Year competition is open to anyone in the town.

To nominate someone you think is worthy, complete the form which can be found in this Friday's Sidmouth Herald.

Your form should be returned to Citizen of the Year, Sidmouth Herald, Archant, Fair Oak Close, Exeter Airport Business Park, Clyst Honiton, Exeter, EX5 2UL.

Photocopied entries are not accepted.

The closing date is Thursday, February 4, 2009.
