Sidmouth Primary School got a 240 boost towards its bid for a new minibus thanks to shoppers at the town’s Waitrose store.
The school’s fundraising hopes, subject of the Herald’s CAMPAIGN 2012, have been helped by customers at the Stowford Rise outlet who cast votes as part of the supermarket’s Community Matters initiatve.
Waitrose’s Margaret Edwards is pictured handing a cheque to Sidmouth Primary headteacher Paul Walker and grateful pupils.
