Sidmouth Herald: Reflections at low tide, Jacobs Ladder, Sidmouth. Just a little bit of water on the sand gave this nice reflection. When I saw this reflection in Sheffield Park Gardens it had to be photographed. A nice reflection in the Stourhead Lake. Picture: Tony VelteropReflections at low tide, Jacobs Ladder, Sidmouth. Sidmouth Herald: The rock formations in the Ladram Bay area are impressive to say the least, particularly on a warm summer night with a calm sea, bathed in the light of a full moon. Sidmouth Herald: This picture is the result of another adventure in the night time, this time in Budleigh. After some planning I went to the mouth of the estuary from 2am until 8am in the morning. It wasn't a very cold night, but I had some naps on the bench at the end of the footpath. It was difficult to frame the shot being very dark (3 am), but in the end the soft light behind the trees combined with a starry sky with clouds and the silhouette of the famous pines created an interesting 'painting'. Sidmouth Herald: I've spent 1 h 30' taking pictures with this nice tree from the same spot and then I've created a timelapse shot with the movement of the stars around Polaris (North Star) which is somewhere in the middle of the frame. It was a very long long wait but I think it was worth it. The movement of the stars looked like a marching army to me. Sidmouth Herald: This picture was possible after a long planning and a long night spent under the stars. The tree is at the entrance of Otterton village on a private property (I had to ask for permission). I've spent about 4 hours there trying to find some good compositions with the tree and the clear night sky. This is one of my favorites - the tree looks very nice with a part of Milky Way in the background.
