Crowds wrapped up to greet the floats as they made their way along the route for an evening aimed at all the family.
Earlier in the afternoon,
The Institute was packed out with people to watch the crowning of the 2019 royalty which will see Hayley Blackmore as Queen and Lexi Whitcomb and Lucy Ryder as princesses.
This year’s trio of Mia Kelly, Holly Keen and Rihanna Hutchinson looked pretty in pink on the royal float.

“Even though it was really cold everyone was having fun. There were lots of people all the way up the street.”
