THE wind was in the hair of Beer Primary School pupils last week when they took part in a power kiting event.
The Class 4 youngsters were shown the ropes by headteacher Martin o'Mahony on Beer Albion Football ground.
The children had a busy day as they also got the chance to go kayaking and take part in a Forest Schools activity on the last day of the spring term.
