Wine sales at Sidmouth restaurant aid CHSW
Children’s hospice receives nearly �1k from Sidmouth’s Pea Green Boat
Since the Pea Green Boat restaurant on Sidmouth seafront opened, Nick and Helga Beer have donated �2,827.40 to Children’s Hospice South West.
“That’s not bad for 10 months,” said Helga, who is pictured, left, handing �924 to CHSW Sidmouth co-ordinator, Bev Thomas.
This was raised by donating �1 a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc sold and �1 from each �20 Christmas meal sold.
“We could have spent more than �1 on crackers and bits, but when people asked about crackers we said we’d rather it go to CHSW,” she said.
