Witness appeal after fatal collision near Sidmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision outside Sidmouth on Friday (July 28).
The driver of a Nissan Skyline, a man in his 20s, sustained fatal injuries as a result of his car colliding with a BMW travelling in the opposite direction on Four Elms Hill.
The BMW then collided with a Peugeot.
Emergency services were called around 7.45pm to reports of a collision involving a black Nissan Skyline, a silver BMW and a Peugeot.
A fourth vehicle was also badly damaged by debris from the collision.

The road was closed for nine hours to allow the Serious Collisions Unit to undertake scene investigation work and for debris to be removed.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the police on 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 967 for July 28.
