Police have temporarily closed Sidmouth’s High Street after receiving reports of a collision involving a vehicle and an elderly pedestrian.
Officers received a call around 12.20 this afternoon (Friday) to an incident near the fork in the road in the High Street.
A police spokesman said: “We understand that the casualty is in her 90s. The woman is conscious and breathing and speaking to the officer. The road is being closed temporarily, while an ambulance crew deal with the incident.”
