The Easter bunny was out in force in Exmouth on Sunday, laying a trail of clues and chocolate eggs for families to find.

Exmouth-based maintenance company, Complete Project Management (CPM), hid hundreds of Cadbury’s Crème eggs at secret seafront locations.

Clues were solved to find each basket of chocolate, starting at Manor Gardens.

More than 500 chocolate eggs were hunted and collected by scores of youngsters from nine baskets hidden by the Easter bunny.

The trail began at the band stand, in Manor Gardens; a clue left at the site sent egg hunters off to the water wheel nearby.

From there the trail led egg seekers to the seafront clock tower; the next clue took them to the Octagon and then onto a dinosaur model close by.

The seafront wishing well had lots of hidden sweet treats as did beach boulders nearby.

The final clues took egg hunters to the beach huts and finally to the lifeboat station.
