The men’s first-team came away from a trip to Bristol Firebrands with a 1-2 victory, but the seconds did not fare so well, losing by the same score line in their home fixture against Yeovil and Sherborne.

The fourth team played twice in two days. In the first game, which was a home match against Exeter and Culm Vale Hornets, they claimed victory in a close encounter, winning 3-2, before a decisive 6-0 win at Torbay 3.

The women’s first-team lost 3-1 away at Bridgwater 1, while the seconds went down 5-1 at Exe 4. The third team took on Isca-Exeter University 5 at home in what was a difficult encounter which ended with a heavy defeat, 0-6.

The fourths fared a little better in their home game against Taw Valley 2, but still came away without any points, losing 1-2.
