West Hill Wasps and Hornets U10s took on Honiton Hurricanes and Kentisbeare Colts at Tipton St John.The Wasps got off to a great start against the Colts when Tom Collins' goal put them 1-0 up at halftime.Kentisbeare then came back in the second half to score two quick goals and that spurred on the Wasps. It wasn't long before Tom Collins equalised and, in the last minute, Sean Jepson scored the winner to make the final score 3-2.The Hornets went 2-0 down against the Hurricanes before they fluffed a chance to get back into the game when they missed a penalty.Elliot Culling scored a great goal to make it 2-1. The Hornets pushed for an equaliser but ran out of time and the game finished 2-1 to Honiton.The Wasps then went on to beat Honiton Hurricanes 3-1. Kyle Stone put them 1-0 up at halftime. Honiton made it 1-1 early in the second half but the Wasps added two further goals, both from Tom Collins.Kentisbeare scored first against the Hornets before Lewis Douglass made it all square. The Colts hit back with a goal but Hornets forced an own goal from an Elliot Culling corner. The game looked as though it was heading for a draw until, in the last minute, Kentisbeare broke away to score with the last kick of the ball, making it 3-2.Some great football was played by all four teams and all the boys should be proud.West Hill Wasps' Man of the Match was Tom Collins and the Hornets' Man of the Match went to Bardia Ashtari.West Hill U10s back row, from left: Tony Badcott (coach), Callum Hardwick, Jaque Khaliq, Rick Pollington, Tom Badcott, Josh Goddard, Christian Shaw, Tom Hayes.
