Sidmouth started brightly with some early pressure with Ricki Harris and Ollie Tollerfield turning the defence inside out. After 10 minutes of pressure, Exwick hit back and came close themselves with a couple of shots just wide. At the back Michael Feeney, Tom Gibbs, Jack Bolton and Ben Carmichael defended well. A good ball found Tollerfield who opened the scoring and right on half time Max Hackman picked out Tollerfield, his shot was saved but Cameron Marshall-Harris followed up to put Sidmouth 2-0 up. In the second half Exwick pressed forward and scored twice in 10 minutes from corners to tie the scores at 2-2. Sidmouth then penned Exwick in their own half but, after a good move from Beckenham and Eoin Ross broke down, an Exwick player burst through the defence. His shot was well saved by Scott Newbery but the ball fell to another player to score for an Exwick 3-2 lead. Sid pushed hard for the equaliser and Luke Warriner found Tollerfield whose shot was saved. Conor Male following up miskicked and the chance looked over but Harris came in to convert to level at 3-3. A great game from both sides with the draw a fair result. Man of the match Ollie Tollerfield.
