Ottery St Mary went down by six wickets when they entertained E Division East table-topping Sampford Peverell and Tiverton.
Ottery skipper Dan Jeacock won the toss and opted to bat and saw contributions come from down the order as the Otters closed on 186-8 after their 45 overs.
Barry Flicker led the way; the experienced campaigner still showed he can put a shift in at the wicket as he was there for 87 deliveries for a fine knock of 46, the top score in the innings.
Eddie Rudolph chipped in with 29 and there were knocks of 25 from Alert Southall-Brown and 23 from number eight bat Jack Tierney while number seven bat Jack Dallyn scored 15.
The table-toppers made short work of chasing down the total! They needed just 26.2 overs to complete a six wicket win with four different bowlers each claiming one wicket for the Otters.
