Sidmouth Raiders powered to a 5-1 success over Moors Youth when the pair met in an Exeter and District Youth League fixture.
The victory was the perfect response to a midweek defeat. Raiders were the better team and shrugged off a physical opposition team to race into a 3-0 lead by half-time.
After the break, Raiders continued to dominate and added two more goals. In terms of the five goals, Freddie Dorman bagged a brace and there were single goals from Joel Evans, Frank Long, and Ethan Gribble.
The second of leading scorer Dorman’s two goals was a special one as the talented striker showed bravery and tenacity to go into a situation where he did pick up an injury and hopefully it will not be long before the young hit-man is back terrorising defences again.
