The latest Fair Play League table issued by the South West Peninsula League show Sidmouth Town sitting ninth and therefore second to Axminster Town in terms of the four East Devon-based teams in the table.

Torridgeside and University of Exeter share the leaderships heading into the April 21 schedule with one red card, 16 yellow cards and a total of 19 points. Appledore are third with two reds and 23 yellows for a score of 29 points.

Ahead of Axminster Town in seventh are Crediton United (4th, 1, 28, 31 – showing placing, red cards, yellow cards and points); Brixham (5th, 1, 29, 31) and Bovey Tracey (6th, 3, 28, 37).

The Tigers have picked up one red card and 43 yellows giving them 46 points and next are Alphington (8th, 2, 42, 48) and they are followed by Sidmouth Town (9th,3, 40, 49) and St Martin’s (10th, 2, 43, 49).

Budleigh Salterton are next (11th, 3, 42, 51), followed by Honiton Town (12th, 2, 45, 51); Newton Abbot Spurs (13th, 3, 43, 52); Liverton (14th, 4, 47, 59); Ilfracombe Town (15th, 3, 48, 60) and Teignmouth (16th, 6, 45, 63) with the current ‘bad lads’ tag going to Galmpton and Roselands with their record of 10 red cards, 46 yellow and a total points score of 76! That bottom score is more than the top three teams score’s added together!
