Ottery St Mary Under-10s were at their clinical best as they despatched their latest opponents, Cullompton and Bradninch, beating both 5-0.

Otters boss Alan Carpenter gave debuts to Tom Bath and Sam Chisholm, both of whom impressed.

First up were a very physical and strong Cullompton team who tried their hardest to keep up with the young Otters, but found themselves outplayed from the start. The Otters were ahead within two minutes and never showed signs of letting up. The game ended with the Otters victorious wining comfortably 5-0

The next game against a well-organised Bradninch side was much of the same.

The Otters went ahead early and showed some real intelligent thinking in their passing, again making it extremely difficult for their opposition to build any attacks.

Finley Giles was outstanding and, despite a high number of substitutions, the young Otters, adapted well and their teamwork won the day.

The Otters goal scorers were Freddie Clarke, Jack Carpenter and Sam Gleeson.
