The two Ottery St Mary Under-10 teams met each other in a Bradleys East Devon Youth League encounter.
The in-house meeting saw Ottery Sharks take on Ottery Tigers.
In what turned out to be keenly contested, and mighty close, contest, it was Tigers who just came out on top. However, despite the defeat, Sharks, like Tigers, are enjoying a good season.
This Sunday sees the Sharks taking on Topsham at home.
Coach Allen Morgan says: “Hopefully the players will continue to build on all their hard work in training. I am sure the Topsham game will be another tough match, but the team are playing well and can go into the match with confidence.”
