Ottery St Mary Bowling Club held it’s annual Christmas Fayre at The Institute in Ottery.
This year, for the first time, the Fayre was treated to a visit from Father Christmas who gave plenty of renditions of ‘ho, ho, ho’, and also dished out hugs a plenty to stall holders before then finding time to hand out some sweet treats to the children present - well done Mr Brian Braund!
The clubs’ social fund raiser Dot Luff, organised the event, and, due to her magnificent effort, ably assisted by her team of helpers, £520 was raised to help swell the club funds.
