Ottery St Mary Reserves were 4-2 winners when they met Feniton thirds at Washbrook Meadow.
Sean Ford headed home a corner to give the Otters a lead that was doubled when Connor Lovering netted from another corner. The visiting side powered back to level things up only for winger Tom Harrison, so used to delivering crosses himself, got on the end of one to restore the Otters lead.
The points were sealed when Luke Phillips came off the bench to score his side’s fourth and final goal.
The game marked the halfway point of the Otters Fresha League Division Eight campaign.
Tomorrow (Saturday) they travel to Exeter to meet table-topping St Martins third team.
