The Ottery St Mary club president Mollie Parker got the 2013 outdoor season underway when playing in a seven rink internal game, writes Peter Bebb.
The weather was not good, but the rain held off sufficiently for us to complete the game.
The year promises to be another very busy one with a full programme of home and away Friendly games including an away day trip to Portishead Bowling Club at Bristol.
There are also Ladies and Gents Club Competitions as well as the usual external and county competitions.
The first Friendly is away at Tiverton this Saturday followed by another in-house game the following day between the president’s team and a team selected by the chairman.
