Countess Wear Dynamoes 2, Ottery St Mary 6 Ottery St Mary Under-15s played the entire game with 10 players owing to a lack of availability with the Easter holidays and the team produced a remarkable collective performance.
The hall mark of their latest victory was the midfield partnership of the outstanding Connor Swingler and a fit-again Jordan Rogers, returning to action after a shoulder injury, the pair orchestrating things from first whistle to last.
Jamie Hill scored four of the Otters goals and Jamie Treacy bagged a braced.
Coach Ben Smit said: “The team really did play well, especially given that they played a man short owing to the holiday period. It was all very encouraging.”
The win keeps the Otters very much in the promotion race.
