Thirty ladies played at Sidmouth for the County Prize in fabulous golfing weather on Wednesday, writes Penny Ashby.
The winner was Margaret Thompson with count back required to separate her from Ann Willoughby with both players all square for their respective rounds.
Third place went to Sheila Skittrall, again after count back was used with her score being minus-2.
Two days previously Penny Lyne and Marie Timms beat the Axe Cliff pair in the first round of the County Vets Knockout competition at The Warren.
Penny Lyne then followed up this success with an excellent hole-in-one at Sidmouth, the first of her golfing career!
