Sidmouth Town latest -
Sidmouth Town boss Paddy Thomas had been saying in recent weeks that his team were edging closer to a positive result.
Sure enough the Vikings did him proud with a superb all-round show that saw them bank their third point of the season with a 1-1 Manstone Road draw against a University side who had been beaten just three times this term to date, and were mighty lucky not have lost a fourth!
The point edges them closer to second bottom Crediton United who were beaten 5-0 at a Plymstock side who had begun the day in the relegation berths!
The full results for December 15 were; Alphington 1, Axminster Town 0; Budleigh 1, Appledore 5; Exeter Civil Service 1, Galmpton 2; Newton Abbot Spurs 2, Exmouth Town 3; Plymstock 5, Crediton United 0; Sidmouth Town 1, University 1. The Stoke Gabriel versus Okehampton match was called off.
Make sure of your copy of the Sidmouth Herald - out next on Friday, December 21 for the match report and post match reaction.
