Sidmouth Toucans had a tough start to the netball season.
Division Two: NAS Vehicle Repairs 11, Lyme Bay 27; Sidmouth Toucans29, Flamingos B 45; CMC Birds 8, Met Office Weather Girls 33; JD Tyres 17, Tip Top Trees Acorns 37.
Sidmouth Toucans had a tough start to the season against the ever-competitive Flamingos B, and this proved to be the highest scoring game of the night.
With Vicky Tarr in fine form for Sidmouth, and Sophia Brown in equally good form for Flamingos, the evening promised much.
By half way, Flamingos had done a lot of damage to Toucans and were 24-15 up and had increased this lead to 35-22 going into the final period.
Toucans had to be content with a point from their 29-45 defeat at the hands of the Flamingos.
