Ottery St Mary Under-18s steamrollered into the new year with a devastating 15-0 victory over Twyford Spartans.
The Otters had not played in eight weeks but there was no sign of rustiness, as Luke Paramore and Oliver Bradley quickly scored the opening two goals, both from Makan Coulibaly crosses.
Coulibaly, Paramore and Bradley extended the lead to 5-0 and it was then the turn of Finn Foster to notch with a superb strike from distance. A Paramore volley completed the first-half scoring.
Zac Tilley rounded the ‘keeper to maintain the momentum after the break, quickly followed by Foster scoring from close range. Jake Haggerty were next to get on the score sheet and he doubled his tally with a diving header.
Charlie Parker, Paramore and Bradley completed a dominant day but massive credit to Twyford, who kept battling right to the end.
