Sidmouth 2nds met Ottery St Mary 2nds in the Devon & Exeter League on Tuesday night and it was the Vikings who took the local plaudits with an impressive 4-1 victory at the Otters.
On the weekend, a double from Paul Barnes and a Luke Tremlett strike gave the Otters a 3-1 win over Okehampton Argyle 2nds, while the Vikings played out a 3-3 draw at Sandford.
Elsewhere in the Devon & Exeter League, it is congratulations to St Martins, who secured the Division Two title with a thumping 5-0 victory at Westexe and Ex Dons doubled that tally with a 10-0 win over Starcross Dons to secure the Division Eight crown.
In the South-West Peninsula League, Sidmouth welcome Dartmouth to Manstone Lane on Saturday and massive congratulations to Brixham AFC, who were crowned champions after their 2-0 victory over Holsworthy.
