Sidmouth Town completed their South-West Peninsula League campaign with a tremendous 4-1 victory over Dartmouth, confirming a top-half finish for the Vikings.
Isaac Furness, Nathan Cooper, Jack Drew-Cull and Louis Jagger Cane scored the goals for Sidmouth, with teenager Drew-Cull picking up the man of the match award for a tremendous display on his first start for the senior team.
The next generation of Sidmouth talent is also flourishing with the U16s sitting top of Division 2 in the Exeter and District Youth League.
The young Vikings welcomed Axminster Town for a local derby and Sidmouth took control with a terrific corner from Joe Anning met at the near post by George Burke to give the hosts a deserved lead. The decisive second was a fantastic 30-yard strike from Olly Morris, with the ball sailing into the Axminster net to confirm a 2-0 win.
